A polynucleotide treatment for skin quality and hydration
What Is Rejuran
Rejuran is an injectable product containing polynucleotides, which are DNA fragments used in aesthetic medicine to care for skin quality. It is placed in the skin and aims at hydration, elasticity and overall appearance. It is not a filler: it does not add volume but works on skin quality.

Recovery
Your doctor will explain at the consultation
Rejuran is injected into the skin, but it is a different product from classic mesotherapy. An overview of treatments aimed at skin quality and hydration is on the Skin Quality and Hydration page. The result is temporary and individual, and your doctor assesses suitability at a consultation.
What It Is Used For
Good to Know
Skin, not volume
Rejuran focuses on skin quality; it does not add volume or change the shape of the face.
A temporary result
The effect is temporary and individual, and an exact duration cannot be promised.
Salmon origin
Polynucleotides are derived from salmon DNA, so tell your doctor in advance about any hypersensitivity to fish or to a component of the product.
An individual plan
Your doctor determines the extent of the treatment and any combination based on your findings.
How the Treatment Works
Consultation
Your doctor discusses your goals, skin condition, health, allergies and medication, and assesses whether the treatment is suitable.

Aftercare
Your doctor explains aftercare. Redness, swelling and small bumps may appear at the injection points and settle.

Answers to the most common questions about this procedure
-
What is Rejuran and who is it suitable for?
Rejuran is an injectable product containing polynucleotides, which are DNA fragments used to care for skin quality. It is placed in the skin and aims at hydration, elasticity and overall appearance. It does not add volume, so it does not replace a filler. Whether the treatment is suitable for you is assessed by your doctor at a free consultation, based on your skin and your health. The effect is temporary.
-
How much does Rejuran cost in Poděbrady?
According to the price list, the full-face treatment is CZK 12,000 per 4 ml and Rejuran with hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin is CZK 16,000. Your doctor determines how much product you need and whether a combination is appropriate, so we confirm the final price at a free consultation.
-
What concerns is Rejuran used for?
It is used to care for skin quality and hydration, elasticity and fine lines. The aim is to improve the look of the skin, not to change the shape of the face. The price list includes a full-face treatment and a combined treatment with hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin. Your doctor assesses at the consultation what suits the condition of your skin.
-
Is Rejuran mesotherapy?
Like mesotherapy, Rejuran is injected into the skin, but it contains polynucleotides. Treatments aimed at skin quality and hydration are summarised on the Skin Quality and Hydration page, and your doctor will assess at a free consultation which of them is suitable for you.
-
Does Rejuran hurt and how does the treatment work?
How it feels varies from person to person, and some patients describe stinging at the injection points. Depending on the extent of treatment, a numbing cream can be applied beforehand. The product is placed in the skin with a fine needle at many points, so the treated skin is often red and slightly swollen at first. If you are sensitive, tell us in advance and the approach will be adjusted.
-
When will I see the result and how long does it last?
A change in skin quality does not happen overnight but develops gradually. For the first few days, marks from the injections can affect how the skin looks. The effect is temporary and individual, depending on your age, your skin, your skincare and your lifestyle, so an exact duration cannot be promised in advance. Your doctor will advise whether and when to repeat the treatment.
-
How many treatments will I need?
Your doctor sets the number of treatments and the interval between them based on your skin and the goal of the treatment. The price list gives the price of the full-face treatment, so if several treatments are needed we confirm the total in advance at a free consultation rather than during the course. You will learn what this means in your case before the first treatment.
-
What are the risks and side effects?
Redness, swelling, small bumps and bruises at the injection points are common after the treatment and settle within a few days. Infection at the injection site or an allergic reaction is rare. If redness or pain get worse, or if you notice a pus-like discharge, fever or signs of an allergy, contact us on +420 777 879 849. If you have difficulty breathing or rapidly spreading swelling, seek emergency medical care.
-
How should I prepare and how should I care for my skin afterwards?
In the days before the treatment, avoid over-the-counter painkillers containing acetylsalicylic acid or ibuprofen, vitamin E and alcohol, as they increase the risk of bruising; your doctor will advise how long. Do not stop any medication prescribed by your doctor, especially blood thinners, on your own; talk to your treating physician first. Come to the appointment without make-up. Your doctor will give you aftercare instructions, for example on gentle cleansing and sun protection.

Who is Rejuran not suitable for?
The treatment is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, during an active infection or skin inflammation in the treated area, or if you have a known hypersensitivity to fish or to a component of the product. In a combined treatment in one session, the contraindications of botulinum toxin also apply, for example neuromuscular diseases (myasthenia gravis), and for hyaluronic acid with lidocaine, also an allergy to lidocaine. For autoimmune conditions, bleeding disorders and a tendency to form keloid scars, the doctor decides individually. The treatment is also not performed in people with a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis). Tell us in advance if you tend to get cold sores or have had a previous filler or thread in the area. That is why we discuss your health, allergies and medication at the consultation before the treatment.
